New Vegetable and Flower Gardens
For best results, work 4-6 cups of AlfaGrow per 100 square feet of garden area prior to general planting. Top dress area at 60 day intervals at a rate of about 2-4 cups per 100 square feet.

Plants and Shrubs
Use one cup of AlfaGrow per foot of weep line circumference of plant, around base of plant every 60 days during growing season. Work into loose surface soil if possible and water.

Potted Plants
One ounce of AlfaGrow should be mixed with soil per one gallon of soil mass. This will provide nutrition for your plant for about one year when AlfaGrow tea is used monthly. Use four ounces of AlfaGrow into potting mixture (per gallon of soil mass) when AlfaGrow tea is not going to be added.

Alfagrow Tea
To make your own "teabag", pour 10 to 12 cups of AlfaGrow into a sock and tie the sock closed. Put the sock into a 32 gallon can, add water, stir and steep for 2 or 3 hours to a couple of days. You can add 4 to 6 cups of Epsom salts and 8 ounces of fish fertilizer as a fortifier, if you wish. Stir often to keep it mixed. Remove sock and pour the slurry residue on the bottom of the can over a garden bed area. Use tea to water potted plants and roses. Pour directly onto soil and /or over foliage.

Lawn Management
Add 10 pounds of AlfaGrow for every 1000 square feet of lawn. Apply by broadcasting AlfaGrow on the lawn. Water immediately.

Compost
Adding AlfaGrow to your compost will enhance the breakdown of grass clippings and leaves. It will attract worms which will further breakdown the compost material. Add AlfaGrow right from the bag or use the waste from your AlfaGrow Tea
