100% Pure Alfalfa
AlfaGrow is 100% alfalfa. There is nothing added. The alfalfa
is grown in Northern California where it is dehydrated and
turned into pellets at the farm.
Safe, Easy, and Versatile
Since AlfaGrow is 100% alfalfa, it is safe for children and
pets and the environment. It eliminates concerns about mixing
and using dangerous chemicals or the storage and disposal
of mixing containers. There are no more hassles about where
to store unused portions of chemicals, or the disposing of
empty chemical containers. You can apply this versatile fertilizer
by broadcasting it, mixing it into planting soil, or by dissolving
it in a watering solution.
Effective, Fast, and Rich in Micronutrients
When you use AlfaGrow the proof is everywhere: flourishing
shrubs, radiant roses, healthy vegetables, and lush lawns.
AlfaGrow is rich in micronutrients that enrich the soil's
ecosystem and promote healthy, vibrant plants. A fast decomposing
natural fertilizer, AlfaGrow's nutrients start to work as
soon as it's mixed in the soil.
Convenient Pellets
AlfaGrow is alfalfa pellets. Alfalfa pellets are a convenient
and easy way to use fertilizer. The pellet form can be mixed
into the soil, broadcasted by hand, or dissolved into tea.
There is little mess with AlfaGrow.
Growth Stimulant
Triacontanol is a naturally occurring plant hormone that acts
as a growth promoter. AlfaGrow is a natural source of the
plant growth promoter triacontanol. The International Society
for Horticultural Science (ISHS) tested the effects of triacontanol
on growth and yield of different horticultural crops. ISHS
found that the yield per treated plant was significantly higher.
Triacontanol has been called "the most potent growth
hormone ever used on plants." (Great Lakes Region Newsletter,
Fall Edition-1993, page 9 submitted by Clarence Owens and
taken from a lecture by D.L. Hinerman, M.D.)

This is Bob Tanem and you have heard me talk a lot about
alfalfa pellets. Well there are now several reports of the
benefits of adding alfalfa pellets to your garden and, rightfully
so. Alfalfa can be one of the most vital additions to your
garden.
It is a proven fact that rosarians and rose growers have
recommended the addition of alfalfa to all your roses with
spectacular results. You can now take advantage of all of
these studies by adding alfalfa to all your flower gardens,
roses, as well as your vegetable gardens. Alfalfa contains
triacontanol, a powerful growth hormone, along with other
nutrients and minerals. Adding alfalfa pellets to your landscape
will aerate your soil, adjust the pH and improve water penetration
and moisture retention. It also increases bio-activity, soil
structure, and increases the effectiveness of your fertilizing
program.
Added to your compost, it will enhance the breakdown of grass
clippings and leaves. It will attract red worms which will
further breakdown the compost material.
